REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

For Gretna Elementary School

Parking Lot & Pavement Replacement

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Sarpy County School District 77-0037 a/k/a Gretna Public Schools, a Class III public school and Nebraska political subdivision (“School”) is hereby requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design services at Gretna Elementary School, located at 801 South Avenue, Gretna, Nebraska.

The School District hereby invites interested qualified consultants to submit proposals for the requested scope of work. The project scope includes approximately 100,000 square feet of removal and replacement of asphalt and concrete pavement with concrete paving. The scope will include the removal of all demolished materials, relocation of various utility services, revised grading required for the installation of new concrete parking lot pavement, sidewalks, site lighting, coordination with the City of Gretna re-paving of South Avenue and all respective utility service providers and as further determined throughout the design process.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in person at Gretna Elementary School, 801 South Avenue, Gretna, Nebraska.

Proposals must be received at the School’s administrative office at 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024.  Proposals may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service.  Only such proposals as have been received by the School at the address, time and date listed above, will be considered.  Following the opening of proposals, the proposals will be evaluated, and a consultant firm will be selected.

The School reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the School.  The School further reserves the right to cancel or amend the request for proposals at any time and will notify all persons requesting proposal documents accordingly.
