SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS
June 16, 2023
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Waterloo met for a Special Meeting on June 16, 2023 at 8:00 am in the Village Office, 509 S. Front Street. Chairperson Travis Harlow and Trustees Rotert and Rochford were present. Trustees Sass and A. Harlow were absent. Clerk Smith was also present.
Chairperson T. Harlow called the meeting to order at 8:05 am and stated the location of the Open Meetings Act. Notice of the meeting was duly exercised and mailed per the bylaws.
A motion to complete minor street patches at various locations in the Village, up to $28,000 was approved and the following bills were approved to be paid: Fortified Management-repairs 206.40, List-UB refund 773.30.
AP Total: $979.70
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:07 am. The next regular meeting is scheduled for July 10, 2023 at 7:00 pm.

REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
June 12, 2023
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Waterloo met for a Regular Meeting on June 12, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the Village Office, 509 S. Front Street. Present were Chairperson Travis Harlow and Trustees Rotert, Sass and A. Harlow. Trustee Rochford was absent. Attorney Solomon and Clerk Smith were also present.

The following motions were approved:
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-01, to approve purchase of hose from Feld Fire at a cost of $7,580.40
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-02, to approve employment of Hannah Hahn as an on-call library employee at a wage of $16/hour
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-03, to approve employment of Jill Curtis as an on-call library employee at a wage of $16/hour
To approve a variance application made by Robin and Julie Knowlton at 412 1st St to waive the regulation regarding accessory buildings in the front yard
T. Harlow excused himself from the meeting for the following two resolutions.
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-04, to approve the Redevelopment Plan for Business Park West
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-05, to approve Redevelopment Contract for Business Park West
T. Harlow rejoined the meeting.
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-06, to approve street closure of Lincoln from 6th to 7th on July 1 from 5p-11p
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-07, to approve street closure of N Front Street from 3rd to 4th on September 29, 2023 at 3pm to September 30, 2023 at 7pm
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-08, to approve changes to the employee handbook to add Juneteenth as an employee holiday
To approve Resolution 06-12-23-09, to approve SDL for ML Brands for 304 3rd St on July 30, 2023
To table Resolution 06-12-23-10, to approve policy for marquee signs
To go into executive session at 8:00pm to protect the attorney client relationship and to discuss possible litigation.
To end Executive session at 8:34 pm.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:42 pm. A special meeting is scheduled for June 16, 2023 at 8:00 am and the next regular meeting is scheduled for July 10, 2023 at 7:00 pm.
