PUBLIC NOTICE

The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education and Educational Service Unit 19 will hold their next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 6:00 PM Central. The meeting will be held at the Teacher Administrative Center (TAC), 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131-2000. A copy of the current agenda is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary at TAC during normal business hours. The agenda may also be viewed by clicking on the Current Meeting link under the Board of Education tab at www.ops.org.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1. Sealed Qualification Packets addressed to Omaha Public Schools Schoolhouse Planning, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the “OPS Pool Equipment Upgrades-Bid No: 24-009”, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the “District” will be received in the office of District Purchasing Department, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming St, Omaha, NE 68131, until 2:00 PM, CST, Friday, February 2, 2024. Any bid received after the closing time will not be considered. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 09 :00 AM CST at Monroe Middle School- 5105 Bedford Ave, Omaha, NE 68104.

2. Plans and specifications may be examined and are available for purchase at A&D Technical Supply, Omaha NE 68127, 402-592-4950, on or after January 3, 2024. Plans and specifications may also be examined at the Office of District Operational Services, Division of Buildings & grounds 4041 North 72nd Street, Omaha, NE 68134 and are also on file at the following locations:
