Bob Wiegand loves dogs, and he loved his former careers in the automotive and advertising industries. However, when COVID-19 hit, those industries weren’t always loving him back.

So, the Omaha-born businessman decided to make a move. Looking to start his own business, Dog Training Elite jumped into his lap, just like a good dog would do.

A mother’s concern spurred her into politics. There was not only a concern for her young son, but for the welfare of all Nebraska’s children.

As September is Suicide Awareness Month, it is important to give focus to those who are trying to help those who are struggling with mental health and suicidal ideation. The Kim Foundation is focused on building education about mental health and suicide prevention, while breaking down the stigma around the issues that keep people from seeking help. The Foundation was created in 2001 by Larry Courtnage and his family, in honor of his daughter Kim who had died by suicide at the age of 24.
